We’re not sure whether we’d classify cocoa nibs as healthy, but evidence shows that they contain powerful antioxidants and are a “superfood.” Plus, they taste great! We like to think of them as tiny chocolate powerhouses created by fermenting, drying, roasting and crushing cacao beans that we then pan-candy in very limited batches. Our roasted candied cocoa nibs result in an intense chocolate crunch which is the perfect complement or topping to ice cream, muffins, pancakes, cookie batter, even salad and seared scallops. They’re also great on their own.
